Our high school is a secondary vocational school which comprises a variety of specialisations such as hospitality, catering and services, florist services, mechanics, fish farming and agriculture. The students in our school are 15-21 years old and their number is approximately 400. The high school is situated in the West of France, in a welcoming tourist area, in a city near the sea, Guerande.
Our school makes efforts and takes initiatives in order to ensure its European dimension. It has been part of numerous international and European projects, so that our students can acquire experience and values which are of utmost importance for their professional paths. As part of our school mission, we intend:
- to help our students be prepared for their professional life by developing the necessary skills and competences in line with their specialisation
- to offer our students examples of good practices from other parts of Europe and include them in their current practice
- to prepare students as flexible individuals who can adapt to the requirements of the working life
- to motivate students to embrace lifelong learning
- to improve students’ communication skills and foreign language competences so as to help their mobility for the future
- to enable our students to recognize, adopt and improve national and universal values and to abide by these values.

- to raise students’ awareness about their own cultural specificities in relation to other European cultures
- to raise our students as self-confident individuals who can think systematically, use modern technologies effectively, plan their studies, and develop their creative abilities and aesthetic emotions.
