Arkas Narlidere Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi is a very newly established one - exactly at the beginning of last year. Our school is a public secondary vocational and technical high school. We have only 9th, 10th and 11th class students. All our students are educating in the field of transportation and logistics. We have 412 students (180 girls, 232 boys) for this year but we will have 150 more in the next year. We are 24 teachers for this year and this number will also increase to 35 next year. Our school is providing quality education and preparing students for university study. Our school is situated in the center of the third biggest city (Izmir) of TURKEY. We pay individual attention to the development of each of our students. The students study Mathematics, Physics,  Biology,  Chemistry, Geography, History, Philosophy, Logic, Psychology, Sociology and IT besides their vocational and technical lessons. We put a great emphasis on teaching foreign language – English. By taking part in EU projects we would like to expose our students to an international environment where they are able to demonstrate responsibility for carrying out certain tasks, share the knowledge they have brought with them, cooperate with peers from other countries, report for what they have done, represent their culture, communicate with peers in English and also create new ideas, activities and solutions that would suit everyone in a group.
